Dr. Winters' First Session: Analyzing the Sexual Blockade
Today, I had another special case on the couch. He had booked five sessions in a row and was quite at ease in my treatment room. After all these years in this profession, some men just break your heart. He told me about his sexual struggles: For almost six years, he hadn't had sex with his wife. I always call the first session the analysis. That's where I want to find out where the problem lies. Of course, certain examinations and tests are also required to ensure his "functions" aren't impaired. Nothing serious came up. I think I'll have to dig deeper in the second session.
